The top - and - bottom - mouth suction filtration flask is mainly used for solid - liquid separation. The top mouth can be connected to a Buchner funnel to add the mixture to be filtered, while the bottom mouth can be linked to an air - extracting device. Made of thickened borosilicate glass, the whole flask is sturdy, transparent and clean. The round mouth is lathe - processed into a standard, non - frosted, perfectly round shape. It is used in conjunction with a Buchner funnel holder for a better and tighter seal.
