Model: AF-TK-2812-02
This device is specifically designed for testing the lateral strength of safety helmets and the strength of chin straps.
Standards
GB/T 2812-2006 "Test Methods for Safety Helmets"
Specifications
1) Head mold: complies with the provisions of Appendix A of GB/T 2812-2006 "Test Methods for Safety Helmets" standard. The upper surface of the head mold is made of metal and can be repaired after being impacted.
2) Artificial chin: Two rigid axes with a diameter of 12.5mm ± 0.5mm, parallel to each other, and a distance of 75mm ± 2mm from the axis.
3) Measurement force range: 0-750N Accuracy: 0.5%
4) Lateral rigid stroke: 100mm
5) Displacement display accuracy: 0.1mm
6) Time display accuracy: 1S
7) Working power supply: AC220V, 50Hz
Testing device
The testing device consists of a head mold, a bracket, an artificial chin, and a testing machine.
Requirements of each component
1) Head mold: a simulated head mold with stable support that can be used in combination with an artificial chin. The mass size may not be considered, and the external part in contact with the helmet lining shall refer to the national standard GB/T 2812-2006 "Test Methods for Safety Helmets" - Appendix A to select the 1 # head mold.
2) Artificial chin: composed of two rigid axes with a diameter of 12.5mm ± 0.5mm, parallel to each other and a distance of 75mm ± 2mm from the axis, fixed on a rigid bracket and connected to the testing machine.
Testing methods
Wear a safety helmet that has undergone puncture testing on the head mold normally, tie the chin strap through the two axes of the artificial chin, and load it to 150N at a speed of 1500N/min ± 10N/min, then continuously apply the load at a speed of 20N/min ± 2N/min until the chin strap is broken or loosened. Record the maximum load to the nearest 1N.
Note: When the separation displacement of the upper and lower brackets exceeds the wearing height of the safety helmet, it is considered that the chin strap is loose.
