DRX-II Thermal Conductivity Tester (hot wire method)

The hot wire method is a dynamic measurement method (non steady state method). The principle is to measure the temperature rise of a linear heat source buried along the length direction of the sample for a certain period of time. Measure the temperature of the hot wire over time by welding a thermocouple at the midpoint. The temperature change of this line is a function of the thermal conductivity of the tested material.

GB/T10297-2015 "Determination of thermal conductivity of non-metallic solid materials (hot wire method)"

    Main technical performance

    1. Thermal conductivity testing range: 0.015~1.7w/m • k

    2. Accuracy: ± 3%,

    3. Using cross hot wire method or parallel hot wire testing to achieve controllable testing of experimental temperature:

    DRX-I room temperature test,

    The maximum test temperature for DRX-II type is 1300 ℃. (Various temperature range tests can be selected according to user needs)

    4. Sample size requirement: 2 pieces not less than 40mm × 80mm × A cylinder composed of 114mm symmetrical rectangular prism or two semi cylindrical blocks with a cross-sectional diameter of not less than 80mm and a length of not less than 114mm stacked together; (or customized according to user requirements),

    5. It can be connected to the upper computer to achieve automatic testing and data printing and output.
